Get off 90 at exit 31 (Utica) out of the toll booth go straight up a ramp. The road will curve left and run into Genesee street. Turn right on Genesee, go over a river bridge, then when approaching the second bridge in a few blocks get off on the ramp to the right labeled John street and Whitesboro street. The ramp goes down to a light. At the light turn left under the over pass and continue on Broad street, stay in the left lane until getting to a light at a separated highway (5). Turn to the left onto the divided Highway (5) then proceed a few miles and get off at the Culver exit to the right. Continue straight through the first light, the road bears to the left then at the next light turn right onto Culver. Go a few miles on Culver until reaching a commercial area. When you just pass a gas station on the right turn left at the light up Albany street. Go up the hill 5 miles then after the road flattens for about a mile you will come to a big intersection where Albany crosses Higby. There is a volunteer fire station on your right. Keep going a mile or two until Gulf road forks to the left from Albany road, there is a cemetery at the fork. Stay to the right on Albany road and just as you pass the cemetery on your left and a house close to the road on the right look to your right up a hill. 500 ft up a straight drive you will see a cedar sided house with balcony and a garage. The address is 1895 on the side of a black metal mail box.. |
